We’ve mapped all of the locations of Roman coin finds right across the Geopark to create an exciting ‘treasure map’. Using a simple grid reference system, students can plot the locations of the coin finds – which includes a coin hoard of more than 2,000 coins – to see where most of the Roman activity was to be found. Using our Roman coin template featuring a coin found near Woodhouse Eaves, younger students can colour in and create their own coin hoard!
