Nanpantan Road Walk

Nanpantan stands between Loughborough and Charnwood Forest. There was a canal wharf here and an early railroad leading to Loughborough. Factory workers and others came here on their days off, sometimes as part of a work’s outing. A large public house and a temperance hotel provided refreshments and a space to relax and enjoy popular sports.
