Listening Wood Project Connects People With Nature

Connect with nature, meet new people, and try something different at a series of free workshops!

The Listening Wood is a collaborative project bringing people in together through nature, creativity and sound, and you’re invited to get involved. The project involves groups like Coalville CAN, Voluntary Action Leicestershire, the Centre for Loneliness Students, and other local groups and partners.

Several upcoming local workshops and activities are planned, including…

– A connecting with nature walk through Grace Dieu Woods

– A taster session at Swannymote woods, introducing you to looking after your local woodland. Perfect for beginners interested in volunteering more!

– An outdoor sound recording session, followed up with a session to edit your collected sounds to use in soundscapes, music, and more!
