Liz Robson is the Director of Rothley Wine Estates, producing fine wines locally here in Leicestershire. Her business, quite literally rooted in the geology of Charnwood Forest, makes a selection of award-winning wines. The wines are available to purchase at several retailers in the region, and from the vineyard itself. You can also visit an experience the vineyard first hand with tours and guided tastings.

Sue Jerham is Director of National Forest E-Bike Holidays, who specialise in easy electric bike and walking holidays in the UK’s National Forest. In 2023, her business won 2nd place in the Ethical, Responsible, and Sustainable category in the national Visit England Awards.

Our Geopartner Network is a group of organisations who support the Geopark and work together to build strong communities. Geopartners receive special events and training provided by the Geopark, as well as publicity through the website and social media. Organisations with a visitor experience, retail offer, accommodation, or event space will receive a listing on the official Geopark website map.

They are also entitled to display the special Geopartner logo within their organisation. Geopartners can be any kind of organisation, from businesses and community groups to schools and parish councils.

Membership of the Geopartner Network is free for the duration of the Geopark’s funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Following this (likely 2026 onwards) it is expected that there will be a small annual fee. To qualify to join, our Geopartners commit to a five point pledge: to celebrate Charnwood Forest, to work together, to conserve our heritage, to protect the environment, and to support the community.

You can discover more about the Network, and apply to join, here.
