We are delighted to announce the first in a series of free networking events for educational practitioners working within or close to Charnwood Forest Geopark, focusing on outdoor learning.
This new network is being established to support the development of outdoor learning at all levels of the National Curriculum, right across the Geopark. We are delighted and excited that our first keynote speaker will be Sarah Lawfull, Chair of the Forest School Association. Sarah has worked in education for over 35 years in many roles, including teaching in primary and early years, as a Forest School leader and Forest School Association-endorsed trainer, an Early Years Trainer/Consultant, an affiliate trainer with Outdoors Thinking and a lead for nature-based wellbeing projects, working with NGOs and County Councils. She is one of the founders of the Nature Premium campaign. Sarah will speak on:
Great Relationships + Nature Connection = Great Learning
Explore how learning in, from, about and through nature has the potential to enrich every area of the curriculum.
