Charnwood Forest Geopark is proud to be working closely with colleagues from Loughborough University as part of a project called The Loughborough Observatory for the Visualisation of the Natural and Built Environment (LOVE). This work, funded by the university’s Impact Hub, is creating an interactive, inclusive, and accessible digital trail that connects Loughborough Town to the Geopark, and highlights the heritage important to local people.
Following a number of online and in person consultation events, the team behind the project have created a draft version of the digital trail, using the ArcGIS StoryMap platform, which you can now explore here: https://arcg.is/1SLTH51
We would greatly appreciate your feedback to help improve the usability and impact of this tool. Please take a few minutes to complete our brief feedback form after exploring the StoryMap. This version is still in draft format, and your input will directly guide its improvement. You are welcome to interact with the StoryMap in whatever way suits you, whether browsing from home or exploring the locations in person. We want this tool to be as flexible and inclusive as possible.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of creating this new way to explore our landscape and heritage – do let us know what you think!
